The California Central Coast Chapter of The Wildlife Society and California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be hosting a workshop featuring San Joaquin Kit Fox Biology. Species identification, survey protocols, and field methods will be emphasized. Field methods include spotlighting, camera trapping, and den and sign identification.
This workshop will be held at a remote field site October 3-6. Bunk housing, tent, or car camping are available. Bunk housing is limited and includes shared rooms only. Four-wheel drive is not required. This workshop will be both mentally and physically challenging as we have all-day field sessions with daytime and nighttime surveys. Temperatures can vary from 100 F during the day to 40 F or lower at night.

Refunds will be granted on a case by case basis up to 1 week before the event. However, eventbrite fees (~$70 Professionals and $25 Students) will not be refunded.
