First Presentation Topic: Developing Applications in Office 365 SharePoint Online
SP Marketplace started building applications for multi-tenant SharePoint environments in 2011. Today they have over 200 organizations using their business applications. With the advent of Office 365 SharePoint Online, many organizations are moving to the cloud, but many are confused over what can and cannot be done with SharePoint Online. This presentation will cover what limitations there are, how they got around them, and they will provide examples of business applications built for a SharePoint Online environment. Application examples will include an Intranet Portal, Employee Self-Service, HR and IT Help Desk.
Second Presentation Topic: Using CloudShare to Accelerate SharePoint Solution Dev
Moving your development to the Cloud has many advantages above and beyond the standard cloud ones. Fewer environment variables, faster releases, and being more opportunistic about the solutions you build. Learn about the benefits of Cloud Based Development and Testing, and find out how CloudShare’s service differs from the other public clouds and how it can specifically enhance the quality and delivery of SharePoint projects.
