A guided tour from the United Irish Cultural Center for San Francisco History Days 2020

About this event

Join Anne Cassidy-Carew, President of the UICC as she takes you on a tour of the St. Patrick's Room, the heart of the center, with a quick pit stop at the statue of Ireland's eternal champion: the mighty Ulster hero, Cu Chulainn.

San Francisco History Days is an annual showcase of local San Francisco history brought to you by the San Francisco Department of Memory and the Host Committee this year from September 25 – 27, 2020!

Bringing together independent historians, local history organizations, and the general public for informative fun, introductory programs begin on Friday, September 25, and lead into coordinated city-wide programming on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. The weekend features select and safe in-person activities like guided walking tours, curated highlights from registered participants on the San Francisco History Days website, and live virtual presentations.

We may still be physically distanced but we can gather around the joy of local history!

All of this is made possible by the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development through its Invest in Neighborhoods Program, courtesy of District 1 Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer.
