CEO/CTO Mentoring Dinner

There are some questions that can only be answered by someone who has been in the same place as you.

CEO/CTO Mentoring dinners are an opportunity for Black Founders Startup Venture members to discuss topics of interest together with an inspiring leader who serves as the “mentor” and focus for the night.  The “mentor” for each dinner is chosen among inspiring entrepreneurs and tech executives who have reached a high level of achievement and hold senior positions in their organizations, and who are willing to share their life experiences, interests and career challenges as well as their successes with the group.

This month’s dinner features:

Linda Glick: Ex-CIO of Levi Strauss

Linda Glick was Levi Strauss’ Chief Information Officer for 24 years. She is a self taught engineer whose first assignment was for Levi's internal startup in Europe. Linda brings with her a wealth of knowledge in building a strong team, how to hire good people and also how to push an organization forward.

Heather Hiles CEO of Pathbrite (formally rrriple)

Heather has over 15 years of experience in business startup and development. Her past includes launching several successful companies, being executive director for Social Venture Fund, and politics.

Dinner is included in the cost of the ticket. Attendees will be e-mailed with the address of their respective dinner.

Black Founders

The Black Founders mission is to deepen the pipeline of minority tech talent and increase the number of successful black entrepreneurs in technology. Our goal is to create an ecosystem that stimulates entrepreneurship and fosters economic growth. We do this through events that create tech community connections, programs at historically black colleges and universities that introduce students to technology careers, and programs that help entrepreneurs move from idea to execution and find support at every stage.
