Join alumni, family, and friends to honor the Caltech RoboSub team who, for the first time, are participating in the 17th International RoboSub Competition.
The Caltech team is comprised of approximately 30 undergraduates whose fields of study include Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Physics. They are passionate about robotics and they are eager to share that passion with you!
In addition to meeting the Caltech Robotics team, we will visit the
5:30 p.m. - Viewing of competition robots at SPAWAR Transdec pool
6:00 p.m. - Talk on Undersea Vehicles by SPAWAR UMV Lab Technical Director, Rich Arrieta (BS '88)
7:00 p.m. - Sandwiches and sides at the Event Center of Phil's Barbecue, 3750 Sports Arena Boulevard, San Diego CA 92110.
7:30 p.m. - Presentation by Joel Burdick, Richard L. and Dorothy M. Hayman Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering
8:00 p.m. - Coffee and dessert
8:30 p.m. - Event concludes

Non-members and guests - $10
Children 6 years of age and under are free of charge.
A small number of sponsored tickets are available to alumni who find attendance fees a barrier to participation
