Virtual Community Workshop #2

Since the first Community Workshop in August 2022, staff and the consultant team have been working to develop draft concepts for community review and input. These concepts are based on the initial round of community feedback from last summer and focuses on the desired improvements for Downtown through creative and flexible design approaches.

This workshop will center on concepts around Placemaking and the Public Realm such as:

• Street Concepts for Laurel Street
• Public Gathering Spaces
• Pedestrian Paseos/Walkways
• Alley Enhancements

Join us to learn more about these draft concepts and to share your input. We want to hear from you – a good plan involves everyone!

Note: Once registered, the City will provide the Zoom meeting details the week of the workshop to make sure you have full access to participate in the conversation.

The Downtown Specific Plan will build upon what’s best and most loved about downtown San Carlos, and will take a close look at what needs updating or changing.
