San Bernardino County Association of African American Employees (SBCAAAE) presents its 26th Annual Black History Scholarship and Recognition Celebration. The theme of this year's event is "Staying Connected with Community". SBCAAAE will be Unmasking Community Leaders/Advocates of Today & the Future by recognizing them at this event. We will also be awarding (3) three, one thousand dollar, scholarships to the winners of our scholarship contest.

This is a Masquerade Themed, Semi-Formal Event.

Masks are encouraged, but not required. There will be a mask contest with winners in the following categories: The Most "Creative", "Chic", and "Debonair".

Ticket Prices:

  • Early Bird Ticket: Now through 01/25/19 is $65
  • Early Bird VIP Ticket: Now through 01/25/19 is $85
  • General Admission Ticket: 01/26/19 through 02/15/19 is $75
  • General Admission VIP Ticket: 01/26/19 through 02/15/19 is $95
  • Adult Drink Package: Now through 02/15/19 is $20 (includes unlimited adult beverages and can be purchased separately from your admission ticket)

For information on FULL TABLE PURCHASE (8 seats per table required), select the "TABLE PURCHASE-RSVP" ticket option and contact LaMika Lydia at sbcaaaeprograms@gmail.com to complete payment. Price per ticket for table is same as ticket prices listed above, however, it ensures that your party of 8 will be seated at the same table and the Eventbrite fee will be waived.

Vegetarian option: each ticket type includes a vegetarian option, which does not include meat. Please make sure that you select the correct ticket type, as all meals are plated based on your selection.

All tickets include: admission to the event, plated dinner, dessert, non alcoholic beverages, program booklet, and dancing/networking opportunities.

VIP tickets include: All items in general admission ticket AND adult drink package, gift bag and one basket raffle ticket.

Early Bird Ticket Purchase in encouraged as ticket prices will increase as of 01/26/2019.


There will be opportunity and 50/50 raffles.


There will be vendors on site, with items for sale.

As Always....SBCAAAE encourages networking, so please bring your business cards (professional and personal) and take the time to meet new individuals and share your information with someone that you did not come to this event knowing.

In order to receive your wristband for your adult drink package, you must be 21 or older and show ID.

Parking is free on site

What's the refund policy?

All ticket sales are final. No refunds.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, there will be a registration list on site.

Is my ticket transferrable?

Yes. If you cannot attend, someone can attend in your place, as long as they provide your name.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. As long as the name of the person who purchased the ticket(s) is given, entry will be allowed.

I.D. will be required to secure wristband for bar service (21 and over required), bartender reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated, only one alcoholic beverage will be dispensed to guest per bar visit, alcohol packages are available for pre-sale ONLY (no onsite sales of alcohol is allowed), tips to the bartender are appreciated, and anyone who appears to be intoxicated may be asked to leave the venue at the request of security.
