By San Art Framing

Overview

San Art Framing is excited to welcome Libby of @thebigkeep to teach a workshop on the art of visible mending.

As we enter the New Year, it's always exciting to feel like we are getting a fresh start. San Art Framing is excited to welcome Libby of @thebigkeep to show us how to give our older pieces a fresh start!

This visible mending workshop will teach you how to mend your sweaters and garments to disguise stains and reinforce areas of heavy wear and tear.

Libby will teach contrast darning, decorative embroidery, and duplicate stitching for knit garments.

It is required you have a basic understanding of hand sewing to participate in this workshop. This class is for mature teens and adults only.

The fee for this class is $100 if purchased before 12/10. Fee will increase to $125 after 12/10. Payment will be facilitated through venmo. Please reserve your spot here and we will send followup instructions on sending payment. You must submit payment to receive a confirmed spot in this workshop.

Click here to venmo Libby your enrollment fee.

You will recieve a kit to take home after the class which includes needles, embroidery floss, yarn, and an embroidery hoop.

Please bring something knit (like a sweater!) to mend! And reading glasses if you need them!
