National Park Service and American Latino Scholars Expert Panel
The American Latino Scholars Expert Panel was established under the auspices of the National Park System Advisory Board. The expert panel provided advice on the conceptual frame and structure of American Latinos and the Making of the United States: A Theme Study, and advises the Board on engaging with Latino American communities to document their stories through National Historic Landmarks and the National Register of Historic Places, and to enhance the interpretation and educational programs in national parks.
