Description
Data Curation Experts will lead a four-day Samvera Camp hosted by University of California, Los Angeles from Monday, September 9th through Thursday, September 12th, 2019. Samvera Camp is open to all developers interested in building skills working with the Samvera technology stack. High-level course topics include:
- Ruby, Rails, and collaborative development using Github
- The Samvera framework including Fedora and Solr
- Content and Metadata management
- Introductory Blacklight including search and faceting
- Advanced Topics and Participant Q&A
Camp will be led by Mark Bussey and Bess Sadler.
LOCATION
Camp will take place on the UCLA campus in the Charles E. Young Research Library (aka “YRL”) - West Electronic Classroom (WEC), 2nd floor, Room #23167.
