Amendment 18:
Located just over the river from Manhattan, on Staten Island's Bay Street, Amendment 18 (formerly known as "Dock Street") is situated within the Historic Edgewater Hall. Built in 1876 as a Vaudeville Theatre, the event space also hosted the Bechtel Brewery in the late 1890's, and served as a speakeasy throughout the Prohibition of the 1920's, during which time it was frequented by both the Vanderbilts & Barrymores.
In the decades since, this venue has hosted musical legends spanning the rock, jazz and hip-hop genres, including: Jefferson Airplane, Dr. John, Buster Poindexter, and Method Man, and has remained a popular filming location for many television shows and movies.
Due to the legacy and pedigree of the venue on Staten Island.. SAMSARA is excited to join forces with Cutting Loose so come join the scene for this exciting event.
