For 20 years, the nation's best comics have appeared at the Sacramento Punch Line. Club favorites such as Dave Chappelle, Gabriel Iglesias, Jo Koy, Russell Peters and Bobby Lee are a few regulars at Sacramento Punch Line. Stars such as DL Hughley, Chelsea Handler, Bill Bellamy, Shawn Wayans, and Chris Rock took their first comedic steps on the Punch Line stage, entertaining thousands while perfecting their craft. The Punch Line's dedication to comic tradition has earned it the Sacramento News and Review Readers' Choice Award for the Best Comedy Club.Sacramento Punch Line offers a full dinner menu, a great selection of craft beer on draft and a full service bar. Headliners who perform at Sacramento Punch Line are regular guests on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with David Letterman. Many have their own comedy specials on Comedy Central, Netflix and HBO and can be seen starring in movies and on television.

Sam Espanola, AKA Sam Bam, was born and raised in Stockton, CA.With encouragement from family, friends &amp; co-workers, Sam gave comedy a try. He started out doing open mic night at a local comedy club and hasn&#x27;t slowed down. Sam Bam has been involved in the comedy scene for over 10 years.Sam Bam has been featured on BET, Comic View, Coming to the Stage, and Latino Laugh Festival. In competing over the years, Sam made the finals in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and was first runner up in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. He has performed with many headliners including Tony Roberts, Anjelah Johnson, Ralphie May, Eddie Griffin, and Katt Williams.Even when Sam is not performing, he is still making people laugh. Sam Bam uses real life experiences to tell his story. Whether it has happened to him, you, or someone you know, Sam will tell it like it is. In the words of Mr. Sam Bam, &quot;It wasn&#x27;t funny then, but it&#x27;s funny now!&quot;Doors open one hour before the show.All shows are 18 &amp; over with valid photo ID.There is a two drink minimum per person.Cameras and video/audio recording devices are not permitted.NOTE OUR CLEAR BAG POLICYOnly the following bags are allowed:• Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags (maximum size: 12&quot;x6&quot;x12&quot;)• Small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (maximum size 4.5&quot;x6.5&quot;)We are operating at full capacity.
