  3. HRS Rules apply

  4. When reenactors enter the event site they will enter through one entryway. Every individual participant will pick up their S&A card and sign in. No one will be allowed to enter the event site without their S&A card.  If you lose your S&A card, please go the entryway and get a new one, or locate an event coordinator and we can get a new one for you. It is very important to keep these cards with you at all times. This applies to all re-enactors, US, German, Commonwealth, and Civilian.

SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR THE EVENT:

  1. All semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons must be properly blank adapted in order to be used in any battles or skirmishes.

  2. Wood tipped blanks are not allowed in bolt action rifles.

  3. No participants under the age of sixteen may carry firearms.

  4. No homemade pyrotechnics may be thrown at or near vehicles or heavy weaponry, or near any of the professionaly place pyrotechnics. During skirmishes, pyrotechnics may be used but they should be brought to the S&A meeting to be approved. In the main field battles the only types of pyrotechnics that may be used are smoke grenades and powder based rocket charges. Please do not use any improper pyrotechnic or unsafe pyrotechnic, if you have questions on your use of pyro, please contact us before hand or prior to S&A.

  5. No US military hand grenade simulators will be allowed.

  6. No one will fire any weapons closer than 30 feet from another reenactor when firing directly at that individual with their face towards the weapon. Violators will be dealt with.

  7. Rifle grenades and mortars must be fired at a 45 degree angle or higher. Any rifle grenades or mortar rounds must be pre-approved at the S&A meeting before being used. Firing rifle grenades directly at another participant will result in you being kicked out of the event.

  8. No live ammunition is allowed on the event site. We are not going to go snooping around everyone’s stuff to find live rounds, but just make sure that you do not have any live ammunition in your possession. If you have some, put it in your vehicle.

  9. Do not fix a bayonet in any battle, skirmish, or skit.

  10. All participants must bring all weapons they want to use in the battles or skirmishes to the S&A meeting. Their S&A card will mark which weapons they have been inspected with. A participant will not be allowed to participate in a battle with a weapon that has not been inspected.
