Do I need previous experience?

No, this is an open class that can be suitable to beginner and intermediate level dancers. We go over basic steps and learn technique and styling along the way. We review every class and then add something new each time.

What dances do you cover?

We mainly focus on Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue but also do some Cha cha cha, Kizumba and Zouk occasionally.

Question 3

Do I need a partner?

No, we welcome both couples and singles. If you are alone we pair you up with a leader/follower as appropriate. If you are a couple, you can dance the whole time together or you can elect to switch partners occasionally to improve your partnering skills.

How many people attend usually?

On average we have between 6-12 people per class so you get sufficient attention each time and can learn faster.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, usually at 6pm before the group but other times are possible. Please inquire with the instructor or send us a message here to find out more.

Is the instructor qualified?

Yes, we only have instructors who have many years of experience teaching this form of dance to all levels.
