Event description
Salon@615 welcomes Tomi Adeyemi, the #1 New York Times-bestselling Nigerian-American author of Children of Blood and Bone.

About this Event

Tomi Adeyemi is the #1 New York Times-bestselling Nigerian-American author of Children of Blood and Bone. After graduating Harvard University with an honors degree in English literature, she received a fellowship to study West African mythology, religion, and culture in Salvador, Brazil. Children of Virtue and Vengeance is the stunning sequel to Tomi Adeyemi's New York Times-bestselling debut Children of Blood and Bone, the first book in the Legacy of Orïsha trilogy.

Signing Line Information

To join the signing line at this event, you must purchase a copy of the author’s latest book from Parnassus Books. As a Salon patron, you will receive a 10% discount! Books will be available for purchase at the event.

Tomi will personalize one book per person, and autograph any others. Photos will be accommodated.

Ticket Cancelations

Reserving a ticket is a commitment to attend. In order to keep tickets free, we need for the number of free tickets reserved to accurately reflect the expected crowd. If your plans change after you have reserved a ticket, please cancel your reservation or email us at least 48 hours in advance so we can give the ticket to another patron. If you reserve a ticket, but are unable to attend, you will be leaving an empty seat that could have been reserved by someone else. The success of this program and future ones relies on your cooperation.

On-Site Tickets

This Salon@615 is a free, ticketed event. A very limited number of tickets will be available on-site on the day of the event, after which walk-up guests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strongly recommend arriving early for the on-site and walk-up ticket line.

To ensure a guaranteed seat, ticket holders need to be seated by 6:05pm. Any seats that are unfilled at 6:05 will begin to be filled with walk-up guests. Once all auditorium seats have been filled, guests will be accommodated in alternative viewing locations.

Parking Information

The Main Library Parking Garage is directly under the library. Entrances to the garage are on Sixth and Seventh Avenues between Church and Commerce Streets in downtown. Handicap parking is located on the 4th level of the garage.
