Pia Mancini is the Cofounder at Open Collective and Cofounder and Chair at Democracy Earth, a YCombinator backed collaborative decision-making platform (DemocracyOS). She is a political scientist by training, peer and cofounder of Partido de la Red (The Net Party), World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and Former Chief of Advisors Deputy Secretary of Political Affairs for the City of Buenos Aires.
Mwiya Musokotwane is the Cofounder of Nkwashi City Development. He's also a Managing Partner and Cofounder at Frontier Capital Partners, an Africa focused investor in real assets, including new cities along with the technology, infrastructure and real estate that are required to make them sustainable and liveable. They intend to rollout several new city developments across Africa and Asia.
Mark Lutter is the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Innovative Governance Research, a think tank dedicated to researching charter cities, special economic zones, and other forms of political decentralization. During graduate school, he consulted on several new city projects and special economic zones. He has a PhD in economics from George Mason University where his research focused on charter cities.
Jonathan Hursh (Moderator) is the Founder and Executive Producer of Utopia. He's intensely curious about the future of slums and their cities. Utopia is creating a network of urban innovation labs across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
