STREET FAIR LOCATION: Greenbriar Lot Rice University Stadium, Houston TX 77005

HOURS OF OPERATION, SETUP AND TEARDOWN:

Setup: Saturday, November 3rd, 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM (all vehicles must be clear of event area by 10:30am)

Street Fair Hours: Saturday November 3rd, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Teardown: Saturday, November 3rd, may begin at 6:30 PM but for safety reasons, no vehicles allowed within festival grounds until 7:00pm

BOOTH SIZE: All booths are sized 10’x10 or 10’ x 20’’. More than one booth space may be purchased if needed. If electricity is needed, it can be made available at an additional charge ($10). Booths will be placed on a first-come, first-accepted basis (paid). The FYP grounds committee reserves the right to place vendors, as we deem necessary. We do not provide tents. You can provide your own. Tables and chairs can be rented from us.

SET UP: Booth set up begins at 8am, Saturday, November 3rd. Street Fair Hours of Operation: Saturday, November 3rd, 11am – 7 pm. Booths must remain intact until the festival concludes. Vendors may walk booth components out of the area, but no vehicles will be allowed in until the festival concludes. Vendors are responsible for their own tables, chairs, coverings, electrical cords, etc. Tent must be secured without impeding fire lanes.

VENDOR ACCEPTANCE: Vendor application must be received on or before October 8, 2018. Please send a photo of your booth/merchandise to ensure proper placement of your booth and for marketing purposes. Once a vendor is accepted, there will be no refunds for any reason. Your Eventbrite transaction receipt and/ or your canceled check is your receipt of acceptance, you will receive an informational email or letter about three weeks prior to the event. We accept all types of arts, crafts and merchandise, however due to space limitations, duplicate crafts and the best interest of all craft participants, the Street Fair reserves the right to return the vendor’s check, pictures and application. Parking spaces are limited and awarded in the order applications were received.

TICKET SYSTEM: Due to security, food safety and sanitation, monetary exchange will not occur at individual vendor booths. There will be a ticket system in which attendees can purchase ahead of time or at designated areas. Each ticket will be $1.00. All vendors should determine their prices based on this ticket price. Secure ticket boxes will be provided and all vendors will be reimbursed their total sales on or before November 17, 2018.

BOOTH DECORATION: To maintain a festive atmosphere, we highly encourage decorations. The festival organizers will be conducting a booth decorating contest. A gift certificate will be awarded to the booths with the most fun and festive atmosphere.

BOOTH SHARING: No booth sharing is allowed unless pre-authorized by the Festival Committee, and will be determined at the sole discretion of the committee. Vendors who share booths with unauthorized or unpaid vendors will be responsible for the total unpaid vendors fee
