Join us for the 7th Annual Sake San Jose event on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Meet up with friends and family as you leisurely walk through historic Japantown San Jose (on Jackson Street, between 3rd and 7th Streets) alive with music to visit the many shops and businesses for a tasting of an assortment of both domestic and international sakes, all for a great cause. Kampai!
Registration opens at 4:30 PM with Opening Ceremony beginning at 5:00 PM.

Yu-Ai Kai Japanese American Community Senior Service, a nonprofit senior center located in historic Japantown San Jose, is committed to serving seniors with an array of activities, programs, and services.
We offer a well-balanced senior day care program, a nutritious lunch service, social services, and a variety of classes, activities and trips for seniors, designed around our Healthy Aging Initiative.
Serving our seniors with Friendship & Love since 1974, Yu-Ai Kai currently serves 3,000+ seniors annually. While our roots are in Japanese / Japanese American culture and tradition, the programs and services are open to any senior in our community.
Yu-Ai Kai is celebrating 40 years of service in 2014. Come join us at the many events planned throughout the year.
Last Call Before Ticket Price Increases
$40 Early Bird Tickets available online until 11:55 PM Wednesday. Eventbrite ticket site will be down for scheduled maintenance from 10:00 PM until 11:00 PM, so get your tickets early. General Admission price is $50 on Thursday.
Among the dozen or so participating distributors / breweries is Maboroshi Wines Estates located in the Sonoma / Napa Valley joining us for the first time. Also, a late addition will be Texas Sake Company providing an Organic Texas Sake brewed from rice grown in Texas.

Participating Japantown Businesses and Raffle Road
This year's event will have 28 tasting stations offering a sampling of more than 30 selections of sake including a Japanese beer, and a wine or two. As you visit these businesses during the event, be sure to participate in Raffle Road and enter for your chance to win a selection of sakes!
