Join Nevada Humanities for a Sagebrush to Sandstone workshop celebrating the art of haiku during the winter. Registration required.

Join Nevada Humanities and local poet and educator John Arsenault on Saturday, December 13, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm for a Sagebrush to Sandstone workshop celebrating the art and beauty of haiku in the wintertime. This workshop will take place indoors at the Fleischmann Planetarium (1664 N. Virginia St., Reno, NV 89557) with a brief outdoor walk through the nearby cherry blossom garden on the UNR campus. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about a brief history of haiku and draft and practice their own haiku inspired by nature.

This workshop is open to participants of all ages and skill levels. Pencil and paper will be provided.

Space is limited; registration in advance is required.
