Did you find yourself aghast at the sight of Table Rock? Are you losing sleep over what the wildlife might eat around Lucky Peak after the Mile Marker 14 fire?
Well, have no fear – the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley is partnering with Idaho Fish & Game to help rehabilitate these landmark Boise areas.
The Land Trust is looking for intrepid volunteers on December 3rd to assist in the collection of Sagebrush seeds. This collection will be used to propagate new seedlings to be used for fire restoration efforts at Table Rock and Mile Marker 14.
Plan to bring clothes and layers to stay warm in the cold and to hike a few miles, along with snacks and water. The Land Trust will provide everything else needed – gloves, equipment and instruction.
Plan to meet in front of Lulu’s Pizza at 11:00 AM. Plan to go until 1:00 PM.
There are limited spaces available for this event, signup now to ensure your participation in assisting with this exciting opportunity.
