Session description

This is an online training session for SAGE Research Methods, designed to give you a quick and simple introduction to this fantastic database. SAGE Research Methods contains over 4,700 resources, completely dedicated to the subject area of Research Methods. It supports all stages of the research process from: writing a research question, conducting a literature review, choosing the best research methods, analysing data, to writing up your results and thinking about publication.

The current available sessions are: Thursday 21st March 2019, 1pm-2pm GMT, Tuesday 30th April 2019, 3-4pm BST, Wednesday 22nd May 2019, 10am-11am BST and Tuesday 18th June 2019, 1pm-2pm BST.

The webinar is designed to provide a general introduction and overview to the SAGE Research Methods database, and is open to anyone to attend - library staff, faculty members, researchers, and students - whether you're simply curious to find out more, your institution is currently on a trial, or you already have a subscription and want an introduction or some refresher training. Each of the sessions will be recorded and anyone who is unable to make the live event can still sign up to receive the recording. The webinar will cover:

Session round-up, Q&A

Registration and joining details

Simply choose your preferred session date using the drop-down menu above and register by completing all the mandatory fields. Upon registering for your preferred date, you will receive an automatic email containing all the joining details for the webinar. The webinar is held via WebEx and will be recorded. We recommend you connect using a headset for an optimal audio experience.

If you are unable to attend a session but would like to receive a copy of the recording, please sign up as usual to the next event date, and tick the box labelled "Recording only". This way, we can email you the recording after the session, but we know not to expect you at the live event!
