Safety Saturday is for people who would like to work in a childcare facility (owners and employees) in Green County. The day-long class will provide required training in:

• First aid
• CPR
• Preventing child abuse and neglect
• Preventing abusive head trauma and review of licensing rules

Safety Saturday meets online from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 1. This class will be FREE. (*If room permits, participants from childcare facilities in communities neighboring Green County will be considered.)

Childcare Boot Camp, a more in-depth training for new and existing childcare businesses, is also planned for this spring. This 8-session class will meet virtually one evening per week.
