Description

Safety Care for Families provides relevant and effective training to family members and others who provide support in a home environment to individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities (IDD) who may sometimes exhibit disruptive or dangerous behavior. Training Information includes:

  • Understanding Challenging Behavior

  • Reinforcement of Positive Behavior

  • Incident Prevention

  • Safety Habits

  • Manage your own behavior and emotional reactions

  • Incident Minimization

  • Family Safety Plan

  • Physical Safety

Participants must be 18 years old and must be the caregiver or family member of someone with IDD.

This is a FREE event, but participants are asked to register. There is only room for 20 registrants, so sign up today!
