Safer Steps Sambro: Community Working Group Kick-Off

Our community is growing — and so is the need for safer, more walkable streets. This virtual session is the first step in shaping what our streetscape could and should look like as Sambro continues to develop.

Whether you have five minutes or five hours to spare, your voice matters. This working group will bring together residents who care about safety, accessibility, and connection. Together, we’ll share ideas, stories, and hopes for a Sambro where walking, cycling, and moving through our neighbourhoods feels safe for everyone.

During this meeting, we’ll:

• Get to know one another and the reasons we care about this work
• Discuss challenges and opportunities for improving walkability in our community
• Share examples of what’s already being done and outline next steps in the Safer Steps Sambro campaign
