Event description

Description

The School District of Elmbrook and Elmbrook Parent Network are welcoming national speaker Mike Domitrz, Founder of The Center for Respect, to present the powerful educational program “SAFER Choices: Dating, Communication, Respect, and Sexual Assault Awareness” to our community on Monday, October 21st at 7:00 PM at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center. This program is for parents AND middle and high school students. Parents, educators and community members throughout the country praise this educational program for creating significant change in students’ ability to make better, safer choices in their lives and in the lives of their peers.

Today’s students face an overly sexualized culture where dangerous behaviors regarding intimacy, alcohol, drugs, and “hooking up” are continually promoted in various entertainment mediums. Consequently, schools throughout the country are seeing alarming rates of sexual misconduct and sexual assault cases among their students.

Don’t miss out! This program is sure to leave you with a few simple tips you can apply immediately in your own home.

You can learn about The Center for Respect and this program online at www.CenterForRespect.com.
