Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls, ages 11-14, how to handle emergencies when caring for young children. Safe Sitters Learn: Pediatric Basic Life Support, Accident Prevention, Behavior Management, and Basic Child Care from infant through school-age.
The two-day course dates are NOT consecutive. Classes are held 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. Please arrive at 8:15 am for check-in. The cost for the two-day program is $75 per student for both days.
A REGISTRATION FORM and STUDENT CONTRACT will be emailed to your attention 7-14 days prior to the start of class. Please print the documents, complete and bring to class.

REFUNDS: CLIENT WOULD NEED TO PROCESS THE REFUND VIA EVENTBRITE 24 HOURS PRIOR TO START OF CLASS.
- As per Safe Sitter Guidelines -- all students need to be 11 years old at time of class
- Students need to bring a bag lunch and drink both days of class – a small snack will be provided.
Parents are invited to a graduation ceremony from 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm on the second day of class.
We will ask you to turn off the sound of any cell phones or pagers during class.
Location: This class is held in the new Florida Hospital for Women, 1st Floor, Women's Community Education Center at 601 E. Rollins St., Orlando, FL 32803 (corner of E. Rollins St. and Clipinger Ct.). You may park at the Alden Garage located at 550 E. Rollins and follow the signs to the Women's Hospital building connector/bridge. If your child's registration papers are complete, you can do a drop off/pickup at the car circle in front of the Women's Hospital and a Safe Sitter instructor will escort your child to the classroom.
Driving Directions: Going South: Take I-4 West to the Princeton Street exit (Exit 85). Turn Left onto E. Princeton Street. Turn Left on Alden Road and enter the garage on the Left. Going North: Take I-4 East to Princeton Street exit (Exit 85). Turn right onto E. Princeton Street. Turn Left on Alden Road and enter the garage on the Left.

Breastfeeding Friendship Network - Every Tuesday 12p, to 2pm - Lunch
