Summary
This is a three-day interactive course that provides a workshop-type of experience.
In this course, attendees will gain the practical tools and techniques necessary to implement the Lean Portfolio Management functions of Strategy and Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations and Lean Governance.
Participants in the course will have the opportunity to capture the current and the future state of their portfolio with the Portfolio Canvas tool and identify important business initiatives for achieving the future state. Participants will be able to establish portfolio flow with the Portfolio Kanban and prioritize initiatives for maximum economic benefit. The course also provides insights on how to establish Value Stream Budgets and Lean Budget Guardrails and measure the Lean portfolio performance.

About the trainers
Chandra Srivastava brings expertise as a seasoned professional engaged in consulting with businesses in their journey to become more agile. She is a practitioner of and grounded in lean-agile concepts as a coach, trainer and mentor. She has more than 20 years of experience working in Fortune 10 and Fortune 100 enterprises, with people in team, leadership and executive roles to help move the needle in their transformation journey as businesses find themselves in increasingly complex digital environments. She has created training courses designed for interactive learning experiences for participants. She has facilitated hundreds of workshops in areas such as agile concepts, scrum, Kanban, design thinking, scaled agile, product management, value stream mapping and lean portfolio management. She has a systemic approach to coaching, complemented by a great interest in understanding how the details add up, which are always contextually unique. She has experience in Financial/Banking, Transport, Government, Computer Technology, Credit Cards, Airlines, Consumer Goods and Telecom/Wireless.
Rama Prasad is a seasoned lean-agile transformation expert, trainer and coach with over 20 years of experience, knowledge and passion to improve the performance of software delivery teams and programs. He has over 10 years of experience in organizational change consulting, enterprise agile transformation consulting, revamping stalled agile transformation back up and running and agile coaching in large enterprise level agile transformation initiatives. He has trained several team members on basic agile, scrum master, product owner, product manager, lean portfolio manager and lean agile leadership skills to lead the change. He has experience performing program increment/big-room planning, large scale training curriculum development, conducting continuous improvement workshops for executives, senior leadership and agile team members. He has serviced clients in Banking/Financial, Telecom/Wireless, Airlines, Retail, Mortgage Banking/Secondary Marketing, Title Insurance, Government, and Health Insurance industry sectors.
