Safe Halloween - Downtown Park Forest

An afternoon of ghouls, ghosts and goblins for the bravest of souls. Please join us for a Safe and Fun Halloween celebration you will never forget!

Stop by the Main Street Farmer's Market first to check out the last market of the year. Booths will be participating in trick or treat. Once there, continue on down through Main Street and the Downtown Plaza; the second floor offices are participating too! Over 30 businesses in the plaza will be open and handing out treats for all the kids! Look for the marked pumpkins outside their doors. Next, join the Trunk-Or-Treat at Cunningham and Main and judge your favorite decorated car/trunk.

The Village Green will have activities for the kids and a costume contest for those that registered.

Get that costume ready for the costume contest - only 25 participants in each category. And decorate that car! We will be judging the best decorated trunk. Contests begin at 2pm.

Farmer’s Market (the last one for the year) 7am – Noon

Downtown Safe Halloween Trick or Treat 11am – 1pm

Trunk or Treat – Downtown Park Forest 1pm – 3pm

Food Trucks – Main & Cunningham 1pm – 3pm

Touch A Truck – Main & Cunningham 1pm – 3pm

Costume Contest – Village Green 2pm

Trunk Contest – Announcement at 230pm or after costume contest

FREE to Participate!

REGISTRATION ONLY NEEDED IF: 1. Entering the costume contest, 2. Having your car in the Trunk or Treat, OR 3. You are a Downtown Business who will be handing out candy.

No need to register if you are only trick or treating.

**All businesses participating will be highlighted on a Downtown Plaza Map, including 2nd floor businesses.
