About this event
Get ready to Saddle Up For The Kettles and show your support protecting, preserving and maintaining 41 miles of scenic bridle trails in the Northern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest.
Select your starting point and ride your way to the New Prospect Horseriders Campground to join in a celebration with friends, food and music.
It is not a race. Riders choose their start time and trailhead and can enjoy 41 miles of bridle trail. All routes end at the New Prospect Horseriders Campground. Buses will be available from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM to shuttle drivers back to their trailer/trailhead.
Schedule of Events - Saturday, June 4, 2022
5 AM – 3 PM Self-Guided Trail Rides
- Riders choose their start time and trailhead
- All routes end at the New Prospect Horseriders Campground
- Remember, it’s a ride not a race
12 PM – 3 PM Saddle Up Celebration
- New Prospect Horseriders Campground
- Music with Bob Welsch, aka "Flap" from Road Trip!
- Lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse of West Bend
1 PM – 4 PM Shuttles Available
- Shuttles will be available to transport drivers back to their trailer/trailhead.
- Groups riding together can designate someone in their party to be shuttled back to the trailhead where they started to pick up their truck and trailer. That individual can then drive back to the Horseman’s Campground to pick up their group and their group’s horses. NKMHTA volunteers will NOT be responsible for holding horses while group drivers are shuttled back to pick up truck and trailers at the trailheads. Therefore, groups should have at least one person to stay with horses while drivers are being shuttled back to the trailheads. Hitching areas are available at the horseman’s camp.
