"Sad Boys performs a character-based monoscene with music. It falls somewhere between musical improv and improv with music.

Seamus Scanlan (Philadelphia, PA) and Joe Partynski (Boston, MA) have been performing in San Diego as the duo Sad Boys since April 2017. The inspiration for the style and focus comes from a shared love of emo music and the influence it had on both Joe and Seamus in their formative years. The entire show is a look into these two characters as they wander through life interacting with others, with each other, and constantly working on their next ""album"". Throughout the show, we learn more about their history, their relationships with their families, their struggles with dating, and their connection to each other."

Chivalry Club

Share a memory (nostalgic, silly, awkward), and we’ll delve into it together. Straddling the line between fantasy and reality, we shine a light on the strange and exciting parts of our past. Chivalry Club is one of four Endgames house teams, originally formed in 2011. Current members of the group have performed at the Del Close Marathon, SF Sketchfest, and San Jose, San Diego, New York, Los Angeles improv festivals. If you plan on dining, we recommend you arrive 1.5 hours early so you have plenty of time to eat before the show. Restaurant seating is first come first serve. Drinks are always allowed in the theaters.

Street parking is free after 6pm. We’re located 2 blocks from Powell BART, numerous muni lines and there are 3 parking lots within 1 block.
