SACT Community Conversations (Northern Arizona)
Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM (MST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
SACT is comprised of multiple state agencies who collectively assess and develop plans to improve crime victim services throughout Arizona. These agencies include the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF), the Office of the Arizona Attorney General (AAG), the Department of Health Services (DHS), the Department of Economic Security (DES), the Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Department of Housing (DOH), and the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC)
Purpose of the meeting: SACT welcomes victim service providing agencies to attend and provide input on how Arizona is responding to the rights and needs of victims. This information will be used to assess the current state of victim services in order to develop a strategic plan that will address how improvements can be made to advance services to victims
A few questions to think about prior to the meeting are: What services are working well? Who is not being served and what are the challenges with reaching those individuals? What services are needed in order to meet the needs of underserved victims?
