Event description

Sacramento is grappling with a housing affordability crisis. We've had the fastest rising rents in the nation for two years in a row. We have record-high home prices, a growing homeless population and intensifying gentrification and displacement. And there are many neighborhoods that have been overlooked for years, due to historic housing policies and lack of economic opportunity.

Residents from all walks of life are impacted by housing, though in very different ways. In collaboration with community partners, CapRadio is co-hosting a series of Story Circles that bring diverse residents together to share experiences, listen to one another, and explore the way forward.

Join one of these Story Circles where we’ll explore housing and community health:

Thurs July 12 -- Unity of Sacramento (East Sac)

Thurs July 19 -- Mutual Housing at Sky Park (South Sac)

Wed July 25 -- Greater Sacramento Urban League (North Sac)

Wed Aug 1 -- Leataata Floyd Elementary (Western Sac)

Special thanks to Unity of Sacramento, Mutual Housing at Sky Park, Greater Sacramento Urban League and Leataata Floyd Elementary for providing facilities for these events.
