The Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Sacramento State is an executive-style program designed for working professionals. Face-to-face classes, led by renowned faculty, are held every other weekend.
Graduates of the program will be better prepared to manage the complexities of educational organizations, affect school change processes, and shape educational policy.
Why choose Sacramento State for your Ed.D.?
The doctorate at Sacramento State is a partnership between the College of Education’s Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and Social Sciences & Interdisciplinary Studies’ Department of Public Policy and Administration. The program also takes advantage of its location in California's capital by utilizing the expertise of education policymakers and analysts, as well as executive leaders in K-12 and the community colleges.
