Sacramento Cash for College Volunteer Training 2021

We will again be holding a series of Cash for College workshops at high-priority high schools throughout the region. This year all workshops will be online. Our continued success, increase in workshop requests, and online platform means we need your help more than ever!

We hope that we can count you! As a volunteer, we will train you to help students and their parents fill out and submit the FAFSA and Dream Act forms, and you will be part of a program that truly gives students the opportunity for a brighter, better future.

The Volunteer Training is mandatory. Each year, the FAFSA and Dream Act guidelines change and therefore, our volunteers need to be trained on the latest updates. At the training, you will learn how to fill out the financial aid forms, how to field frequently asked questions, how to help students avoid common mistakes, and to which resources to refer students with special circumstances.

The training is online, using Zoom.
