Join the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG), elected officials, community leaders, and stakeholders from across the Sacramento region for a hands-on workshop to assist in the planning of the Sacramento region's long-range vision, the 2025 Blueprint.

During the Blueprint Workshop, attendees will work collaboratively to help build the long-range plan. The input will directly impact its development now and into the future, and your involvement as a regional leader is critical to ensure that the plan meets the needs of our community.

Agenda:

8:00 a.m. - Doors open, coffee and light breakfast will be provided

9:00 a.m. - Program begins with a welcome from special guests:

  • Rosario Rodriguez, Mayor, City of Folsom
  • Patrick Kennedy, Sacramento County Supervisor and SACOG Board Chair

9:30 a.m. - 12:00 pm.

  • State of the Region, presented by James Corless, Executive Director, SACOG
  • Built Environment Poll Results, presented by Evan Schmidt, CEO, Valley Vision
  • Planning for the Future presentation and activities, led by Kacey Lizon, Deputy Executive Director of Planning and Programs, SACOG

12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. - SACOG's Youth Leadership Academy Luncheon (limited capacity, RSVP required)

  • Luncheon includes a special panel presentation with Youth Leadership Academy Alumni

The 2025 Blueprint is SACOG members’ plan to build a connected region that includes transportation options for residents, affordable housing for the region’s growing population, and equitable investments that give all community members access to a safe and healthy region.
