Event Details

Hey Philly! Join us on April 4 for the first SAADA Community Forum in Philadelphia!

The South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) wants to hear from you! Come to the Asian Arts Initiative to learn more about SAADA, the only independent non-profit organization working to document, preserve and provide access to the rich history of South Asians in the United States.

View materials from the archive, ask questions, and have your say! Tell us what you’d like to see in the archive, or share your story at our “show and tell” open mic! If you’d like to bring in an object that tells a story about your life, please contact showandtell@saadigitalarchive.org to sign up. You’ll have 2 minutes to share your object and story.

Together, we’ll build the history of a diverse community.

When: Thursday, April 4, 2013, 6 pm - 7:30 pm
Come at 6 pm for food. We’ll start the event at 6:15.

Where: Asian Arts Initiative, 1219 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP via Eventbrite.

Food and light refreshments will be provided.
