About this event

Join SA2020 at Jaime’s Place on Thursday, April 13 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM to learn about the upcoming municipal election.

Kiran Kaur Bains (SA2020) will be in conversation with Ananda Tomas (Act 4 SA) to talk about what the Justice Charter is and why it matters to achieving San Antonio’s shared Community Vision. Strawberry Jams will get the Meet Up started with an all-vinyl set and owner Jaime Macias will welcome everyone to Jaime’s Place. MOVE Texas will be on-site to talk about what’s happening in the Texas State Legislature and answer questions about the upcoming election.

Team SA2020 will welcome folks and begin the conversation at 5:45 PM. You’re welcome to join us at any time. This event will be exclusively outdoors. We’ll have small bites available and a cash bar.

Please allow time to arrive and park safely, as there is construction on Commerce St immediately in front of the venue. Parking is available along the red perimeter fence and in the lot next door (keep an eye out for the "Parquéate Here" sign). Additional parking can be found on the surrounding streets.

Individual sponsorships are available at $50, $100, $250, and $500. All individual sponsors will have the event cover charge waived for themselves and a friend, and be recognized for their support on SA2020's website and at the event. Click "Get Tickets" to purchase a $5 ticket for the event or explore each sponsorship level.
