RVA's Creative Crash
Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EST)
Season’s Greetings Crashers!
Soon, the weather outside will be frightful, so for our next event we’ll be decking the halls of the VMFA!
Join us at Best Café for drinks and food, followed by our design challenge throughout the galleries.
Date: Thursday December 13th, 2012
Location: VMFA (starting in the Best Cafe)
Plus, we have a special design challenge involving Chihuly at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art by internationally renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. His mesmerizing glass sculptures from the ‘Hot Shop’ are forged at over 2000 °F! You can almost feel the warmth from his works of art, and you won’t even think about runny noses, ice-scrapers, or freezing 6 AM commutes.
If interested in participating in the Chihuly exhibit challenge, RSVP by Friday, Dec. 7th. Tickets for the challenge will be $16 (if 10 or more RSVP) and free for VMFA Members. If you haven’t experienced this incredible exhibit, here’s your chance!
What is Creative Crash?
This isn’t your grandpappy’s networking event. Be prepared to collide head on with the unknown, untapped and unbridled energy that is Richmond’s creative forces. Who are these creative forces you ask? YOU are. Discover other geeks, interface-whisperers, techheads, design junkies, DIY-ers, videography-vikings, madmen/madwomen, and Davinci wannabees.
