Nope! This class is designed for beginners. You’ll learn everything step by step.

Will I bake my own loaf in class?

We’ll walk through the full process together, and you’ll get plenty of hands-on practice. Since sourdough takes time, you’ll go home with ready-to-bake dough and your own starter.

What should I bring?

Just yourself! Everything you need will be provided, including ingredients, tools, and a take-home starter. (You may want to bring a notebook if you like taking notes.)

How long is the class?

About 2 hours. We’ll have time for instruction, shaping practice, tasting, and questions.

Will I get to take anything home?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You’ll leave with your own sourdough starter, a sourdough kit (which includes instructions, dehydrated starter, jar and spoon), ready to bake dough, and the skills to continue your sourdough journey!

Is this class kid friendly?

The techniques are geared toward adults, but older kids/teens who love baking are welcome with a parent or guardian.

What if I can't make it after I buy a ticket?
