Milwaukee Preservation Alliance (MPA) is excited to partner with The Rust Belt Coalition of Young Preservationists to host the Rust Belt Takeover of Milwaukee, May 10th-12th. Formed in 2016, the Rust Belt Coalition of Young Preservationists (RBCoYP) unites the Rust Belt’s growing young preservationist movement. The mission of the Coalition is to create a common forum among groups within the region, mentor and support newly formed young preservationists groups, and use the power of our collective voices to effect change in the preservation movement.

Milwaukee Preservation Alliance, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting stewardship and awareness of the historic, cultural, and economic value of Milwaukee’s built heritage. MPA aims to strengthen Milwaukee’s neighborhoods by advocating for and promoting their unique cultural spaces and architectural assets in order to foster a strong and vibrant community as well as demonstrating the link between historic preservation and viable economic development.
