Description

eXperience what's possible!

RuralX is an eXperience for rural community shapers and changemakers. It's not your typical conference. Here, the focus is on rural economic and community development through your local stories, inspiring speakers who are shaping rural, crowd-powered breakout sessions and deeper connections that hold you up. Connect with a network of rural "thinkers and doers" during RuralX, two days of discovery in Mitchell, South Dakota. Find new ideas, tools and processes to help you be a confident catalyst of change in your own rural community.

RuralX at a Church?

We loved meeting at Dakota Wesleyan University for last year's RuralX! Renovations and construction on the DWU campus meant we needed a new home for RuralX this summer. We didn't need to look far. Mitchell Wesleyan Church offered their amazing facility, with it's great technology and room to spread out in RuralX breakout style. Yes, it happens to be a place of worship. No, RuralX is not a religious event of any sort. MWC offers a super facility for a group of rural changemakers to gather for two rural-shaping days. We thank them for their hospitality!
