This year's regional Rural Women in Agriculture Conference theme is “DO BIG THINGS - with Little Actions” as we will be providing you with the leadership, inspiration and education to help you 'Do Big Things' in agriculture and rural communities. If you choose... a tour of the beautiful Lead/Deadwood area will launch your 2 day adventure. Thursday kicking off the conference is a Genetics Presentation Panel discussing genomics advancements in crops, livestock and humans. The panel will be moderated by Michelle Lavalle and feature representatives from Avera Cancer Institute, Zoetis and Monsanto. Taking care of you is important too - each day enjoy a complementary 'Yoga' session. Entrepreneurship is the topic Friday morning with other program highlights to follow such as Beef Bandits and Ag in a Box. Sara Tveidt will present the topic 'Hungry for the Truth'. As always there will be the Creative Learning activities – chalk paint, card making, and sewing. And we believe in the power of networking and getting to know other women in agriculture so there will be ample time to mix and mingle with other attendees. Your accommodation reservations at The Lodge in Deadwood, S.D. can be made by calling 877-393-5634; mention the conference and receive a discount on your accommodations. If you know your registration is sponsored the promotional code is '2017Sponsor'. Once you enter the code you may need to update your order form quantities.
