Co-convenors: Pacific Partnerships to Strengthen Gender, Climate Change Responses and Sustainable Development (PPGCCSD); CHIRAPAQ- Centro de Culturas Indígenas del Perú; DIVA for Equality Fiji; Dewan Adat Papua; Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF); UNFCCC Women and Gender Constituency, and others.

This event is led by diverse women from rural, remote and Indigenous communities around the world and diverse climate justice networks and coalitions that are determined at CSW62 to show the urgency of shared work towards social, economic, ecological and climate justice.

The speakers will share urgent messages, work and organizing needs of feminists and women human rights defenders from Indigenous, rural and remote communities working on the frontlines to defend women, people, other species and the planet. Representatives of the Women and Gender Constituency and other social movements will also discuss efforts at regional and global level to demand urgent action by all stakeholders in defence of life, including those of women activists and frontline communities.
