Event description
Are you a rural pastor or leader? Join us as we network and collaborate for the sake of spread of the gospel in rural America.

About this Event

A leader in rural ministry recently commented, “Rural is the new Samaria.” Up until the latest election, few seemed aware that rural America still existed. Even many within evangelical denominations and networks have been concentrating on reaching the urban and suburban harvest fields.

Not anymore! Today, many are sensing a Macedonia cry coming from rural America to come and help. The Rural Matters Institute of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College wants to be on the leading edge of convening denominational and network leaders focused on rural areas to partner and collaborate to bring a greater and more powerful gospel witness in rural contexts.

One of the ways RMI plans to bring a greater and more powerful gospel witness in rural contexts is through our Rural Matters One-Day Summits. These summits are designed to resource, mentor, and inspire the rural church leader by addressing the challenges, problems, obstacles, and struggles of ministry in the rural context. In short, we want to tackle rural matters because rural matters!

Join us at Crosspoint Church in Hutchinson, KS for a one-day summit.

Early Bird Rate is $40 (if purchased before August 10th)

Regular Rate is $55 (after August 10th purchase)

*Cost of the conference includes admission to the summit, resource, and refreshments.

There will be main sessions and breakouts around resourcing, mentoring, and inspiring the rural church leader.
