Running Wild: A Free Series of Trail Running Clinics/Runs

In the Greenbelt, Staten Island, NY

Six week series: Saturday, October 7, 14, 21, 28 &  November 4 & 11

Our first session on October 7 is full - please choose another date to join us.

Running through the woods can nurture the soul, free the mind and tone the body.

Join us for one or all of these free six clinics/runs designed to help you become more comfortable and adept at trail running. Stride adjustment, trail assessment, gear choices and safety will be discussed.

These clinics are capped at 15 participants.  If you are closed out of one session, please register for your second choice. We do our best to accomodate everyone. If you need to cancel, please let us know so that we can open your spot to someone else.

Participants will experience the Greenbelt trail system with a qualified guide and runner.  If you have always wanted to get into, or get better at running and navigating the Greenbelt trail system, this is a great opportunity.

The group will run the trails at a comfortable pace under the leadership of Anthony Maranzano, an experienced trail runner and marathoner with knowledge of the Greenbelt trail system and its seasonal trail races.

Sign up for one or all six sessions.  Attendance is limited to 15 runners.  If you find you cannot make, please cancel your reservation so that someone else may attend.

This free series is funded by NYC Council Member, Joseph Borelli of the 51st District in Staten Island.
