The 9th Annual Running of the Bulls at San Fermin in Nueva Orleans (SFNO) is the city's most incredible Summer Spectacle! Join thousands of runners as they roam the streets of New Orleans and party with hundreds of Rollerbulls (roller derby skaters with horns on their helmets and plastic bats in their hands) from around the globe during the Encierro.

Thursday evening, July 9 - Wine Dinner: a gourmet, multi-course meal paired with fine wine. This event is ticketed and will sell out. Registration for this event at The Bourbon Orleans Hotel (717 Orleans St.) can be done via Eventbrite here. This event is through our partnership with The New Orleans Hotel Collection. Please consider there great properties when booking your hotel.
Friday evening, July 10 - El Txupinazo: the official opening of #SFNO2015 is pronounced choo-pin-AHT-so. This ticketed event will be held at The Publiq House (4528 Freret Street, New Orleans, LA 70115). Your ticket gets you free food from Bayona and Mondo, open bar and live entertainment. There will be lots of great raffle and auction items to help support our charities.
Saturday morning, July 11 - Encierro and Post Encierro Fiesta: SFNO revelers begin gathering near the starting line during the wee hours of Friday night. But the crowd builds in earnest at 6:30 AM when the festival bars open. The Procession of San Fermin kicks off the morning and an invocation preceeds the Running of the Bulls at 8 AM SHARP! This is a ticketed only event. Following the event enjoy live music, food and lots of fun.
Saturday evening, July 11 - La Fiesta de Pantalones: sip a cocktail and grab some grub whilst enjoying live music and sorting your camera phone photos. The Maison (508 Frenchment Street) will once again provide the free entertainment from 4:30 through late night. This event is free and open to the public!
Sunday early afternoon, July 12 - El Pobre de Mi: close out #SFNO2015 at The Maison (508 Frenchment Street) with a tapas brunch, Ernest Hemingway-inspired contests, live music and a few other entertaining surprises. This event is free and open to the public!
CHARITIES for SFNO 2015:
Last year following the event, Nola Bulls cofounder Beth Hanning was diagnosed with Stage IIB (2B) Breast Cancer. Following treatment and surgery NOLABHCF, Inc was formed to raise money to supplement the resources of financially needy women fighting cancer in the Greater New Orleans area.
We will also continue our relationship Animal Rescue New Orleans, a no-kill shelter helping to find homes for lost and abandoned pets in the New Orleans area.
