Join Mesosphere, Portworx, and your peers for a VIP lunch-and-learn! Content will feature using Kubernetes from Mesosphere and Portworx to run Stateful Services such as Database-as-a-Service and Machine Learning. Mesosphere and Portworx together will present technical demos showcasing the user and admin experiences.
Mesosphere’s DC/OS with Kubernetes is being used as a modern platform to enable innovation and digital transformation in businesses. Portworx PX-Enterprise provides a single data management layer for all of your stateful services, no matter where they run. Here are some example use cases:
Database-as-a-Service Use Case: Databases need to be highly available and deployed quickly, regardless of where they are run. Your container orchestrator and the storage layer need to be fully integrated to achieve true automation, and they need to be in sync when recovering from environmental failures.
Machine Learning Use Case: Data analytics and deep learning are now how we turn raw data into knowledge. With the deluge of data that has come from our increasingly connected world, the need to automate its processing, analysis and implementation has driven interest in deep learning tools.
Starting your first deep learning project with TensorFlow on your laptop is very simple, but at the larger scale required for most big data sets, organizations often struggle with managing the infrastructure. Kubeflow is a tool that makes it easy to run distributed machine learning solutions (e.g., TensorFlow) on Kubernetes that can be combined with modern data tools to simplify this complexity.
