Description

Monday Morning Yoga classes are open to all levels and will incorporate postures that help with running performance and injury prevention. You’ll focus on relieving tightness and building strength in five key muscle groups involved in running—glutes, hamstrings, quads, core, and calves—as well as increasing mental focus through breathing.

Note: Yoga mats are not supplied at these classes.

About the Instructors
Steph Armijo is an NYC-based yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and certified Pilates instructor who specializes in working with professional athletes at both the individual and team level. Her clients have included the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Mets. Steph's classes focus on updated yoga biomechanics and balancing the nervous system to optimize the benefits of a well-rounded yoga practice.

Jen Harper is an avid runner and 200-hour certified yoga instructor. She knows firsthand the benefits that an active yoga practice can have on training: A mix of yoga, meditation, and running classes helped her finish strong at the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon. She's currently using the same plan to get through back-to-back marathons—Chicago and New York—this fall.
