We are the MN Brewery Running Series™ and we run for beer!

'Run for a Reason' with us at Back Channel Brewing Co on Sunday, April 30 - a 5k to support Grief Club MN

We've mapped out a 5k-ish course to start and end at this awesome taproom in 'Westonka', MN. Run, walk, jog - whatever goes! All ages, all levels are welcome. Complete the course and celebrate with us - enjoy a FREE, local craft brew at the finish line.

Be active. Have fun. Give back! A portion of all proceeds supports Grief Club of Minnesota - a 501c3 community based nonprofit whose mission is to provide a place where grieving children, teens and families find connections, share their experiences and heal. The organization offers a safe haven of support, compassion, education and hope, providing peer based support groups, individual and family grief counseling sessions and crisis support and education to the community. All clinical services are provided by professional licensed mental health counselors and at no cost to the participants.

Important details:

• This is an untimed, fun-run. All levels of walkers, runners and joggers are welcome.
• This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
• We create each route to start and end at the brewery and to show off the surrounding neighborhood. Volunteers will be stationed along the route to help you know where to go.
• You must bring a valid ID or driver's license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage.
• Our events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run, we will still hang out and drink beer.
• There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.
• Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course and at the brewery, with care and caution. Please remember - you are running at your own risk on city sidewalks / streets / trails, which might not be suitable for your 4-legged and /or pint size running buddies.
• Please drink responsibly. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.
