About this Event

Welcome to Broadway Murder Mysteries Where You Can: Play The Part Or Solve The Crime!

The town of Highbourne is abuzz. The Prince Regent, Richard, and his wife, Princess Liesl, are on a royal tour of the kingdom. The royal entourage has stopped for two nights at Ridgerton Park, the estate of Lord Bertram. He is hosting a grand dinner for the royal couple and has invited several influential families from nearby. Hopeful young ladies are in attendance to find a wealthy husband. Wealthy young men are avoiding the gold-digging ladies and their pushy mothers. The less fortunate young men are in search of a young lady of large fortune.

At the height of the party, someone screams. Lord Bertram, is in his study, slumped over and dead as a doornail.

Who is responsible for Lord Bertram's death? Was it one of the mothers of the young ladies, who have been fruitlessly trying to marry their daughters to any one of Lord Bertram's sons? Did someone murder him for his money? Or did the butler do it?

The game is afoot, both upstairs AND downstairs, at the Ridgerton Park estate- so watch out! The killer may even be you!

The Experience

Join your host Brandon Hicks on a virtual night of murder mystery fun where you can: Be A Character in the Murder Mystery and Act “On-Stage” or Be A Detective and remain “Off-Screen” while watching the comedy at play and helping solve the crime! The evening finishes with awards and an evening you won’t soon forget!

Two Options to Buy:

1) Play the Part – show off your acting chops on the Virtual Stage for everyone in attendance to see and be sure to invite your friends and family to watch you perform!

There are (up to) 20 characters available in Bullets on Broadway. Our host will be acting as the casting director for the event and you’ll be assigned a role to play prior to the event. You never know which character you’ll get to play and that’s half the fun! All roles will be assigned at least one week before the event and your "scripts" will be sent in advance (no need to prepare!). Prior to “showtime” meet the other performers in the virtual “green room”, receive your virtual backdrops, learn how the game is played, get pointers from the “director”, then it’s Lights, Camera, Murder! At the end of the event, our host will be giving out awards, including a special prize! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity geared for performers (ages 16+) to shine! BUY NOW as SLOTS ARE LIMITED!

2) Solve the Crime - Participate “offstage” and behind the “scene of the crime”, while our characters perform the murder mystery! Be tasked with figuring out who the killer is, chat with other detectives throughout the event (and show your performers love and support)! At the end, you get to guess who you believe the killer is – get it right and you win! This is a great ticket for you to also watch and support your friends/family acting on our Virtual Stage!

About Broadway Murder Mysteries

Broadway Murder Mysteries was created during the COVID-19 crisis in March of 2020, when many Broadway performers, writers, marketers, and talent were out of work. The Broadway shut down caused a massive effect on the theater community, and Broadway Murder Mysteries was created to give jobs to out of work talent, while creating something inherently theatrical that theater and mystery fans would love. For more information and to register for an upcoming session of our free webinar on “How to Host the Ultimate Murder Mystery Party” and learn everything you need to know about planning, prepping, and playing any of our games, click here!
